sweet little man

This little guy belongs to some friends of ours, and I think he is so precious!  I was already very fond of him, but after staring at his sweet face on my monitor during the editing process, I’m smitten!  He (like almost every little boy I know) was completely mesmerized by all the fun things outdoors and got all serious on us.  We managed to get some sweet smiles out of him, but I also enjoyed seeing the wonder in his eyes as he explored the world around him.  See what I mean? . . .

sleepy boy

I had a session recently with this sweet boy.  Isn’t he precious?  He was all smiles for a little while . . .

. . . and then he fell asleep.  Fast asleep.  According to his super sweet mom & dad, he was catching up on the sleep he missed the night before . . . when he kept them awake!

He was just the sweetest thing, and he looked like a little angel sleeping there!  I had a wonderful time with him, his parents, and their first baby!  Thanks, mom & dad, for giving me the opportunity to photograph your precious (sleepy) baby boy!

Daniel & Christina’s BIG day!

I had the pleasure of spending the weekend in Gulf Shores, Alabama photographing Daniel & Christina’s wedding!  Gulf Shores is a special place to me because we’ve been going there for family vacation for nine years.  Lots of fun memories have been made there, and many, many more were made last weekend!  See . . . .

The wedding and reception were held at a house that sits right on the beach.  The weather was beautiful, and the ceremony was lovely.  Christina works in NYC for Calvin Klein, and her dress was absolutely perfect.  Her girls also had great dresses, and I loved that they were all different colors.

All the little details came together beautifully, the food was fabulous, and friends & family were in abundance . . . it was a fun day!

Here are a few more I like . . .

I should mention that Christina has two {fabulous} sisters, and one of them is one of my best friends.  I really enjoyed spending some time with her and her family.  Several of their extended family members traveled from Germany to attend the wedding, and it was really fun getting to know them.  Too bad I didn’t pay better attention in my high school German class!  They were sweet to take me in as part of the family for the weekend.  Daniel & Christina, thanks so much for giving me the opportunity to photograph your wedding!  Beste Wünsche für eine lange und glückliches Leben zusammen!
