Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Thompson! Thanks for the opportunity to photograph your big day!
Cory and Amy are getting married in October, and I had SOOO much fun with them during their engagement session earlier in the week! We met on the Vanderbilt campus, and the weather was great! They were willing to try whatever I suggested, and I left the session feeling as if I had made new friends (which is one of the things I love most about my job!). They make a wonderful couple, and I’m so excited for them! Here are a few favorites:

Thanks, Cory & Amy, for a fun time! I hope you enjoyed your sushi!
I had the pleasure of spending the weekend in Gulf Shores, Alabama photographing Daniel & Christina’s wedding! Gulf Shores is a special place to me because we’ve been going there for family vacation for nine years. Lots of fun memories have been made there, and many, many more were made last weekend! See . . . .

The wedding and reception were held at a house that sits right on the beach. The weather was beautiful, and the ceremony was lovely. Christina works in NYC for Calvin Klein, and her dress was absolutely perfect. Her girls also had great dresses, and I loved that they were all different colors.

All the little details came together beautifully, the food was fabulous, and friends & family were in abundance . . . it was a fun day!

Here are a few more I like . . .

I should mention that Christina has two {fabulous} sisters, and one of them is one of my best friends. I really enjoyed spending some time with her and her family. Several of their extended family members traveled from Germany to attend the wedding, and it was really fun getting to know them. Too bad I didn’t pay better attention in my high school German class! They were sweet to take me in as part of the family for the weekend. Daniel & Christina, thanks so much for giving me the opportunity to photograph your wedding! Beste Wünsche für eine lange und glückliches Leben zusammen!
I’ve been a bad blogger this week, but here are a few more from Michael & McKinsey’s wedding day . . .
Look how pretty her hair was, and I love the way she’s looking at him as they danced! It started to snow right as they were getting ready to leave their reception . . . how fun is that?!
This week has been so weird here in Nashville. One day it was 80 degrees, and the next it was 40. Today it’s been raining and sleeting on and off all day. I went from wearing flip flops and a t-shirt one day to sporting a winter hat and scarf the next. I loved getting that little sneak peek of Spring, though, and it has me itching for some fun outdoor sessions! If you’re interested in a Spring session, call or email me soon!
Michael & McKinsey had a beautiful wedding on Saturday, and I was thrilled to have the honor of documenting their special day! I’m in the process of sorting through all the images, so I decided to focus on McKinsey in this post. I met up with her and her sister (who was a fabulous maid of honor, might I add) prior to the wedding to photograph them getting ready. McKinsey looked so beautiful . . . don’t you think?! . . .

Aren’t all these colors FUN?! . . .

I especially love these two . . .

Because I love all the little details . . .

I’ll be posting more later in the week. It’s been so crazy around here the past few weeks, and I’m trying to get caught up. Congratulations, Michael & McKinsey!!! I hope you enjoy every single minute of your honeymoon!
I recently had the opportunity to do an engagement session with Mike & McKinsey. They’re getting married in a couple of weeks, and I’m so excited for them! I’ll be photographing their wedding, too, so stay tuned for some images from their big day. We met at Travellers Rest, where their reception will be held. I had never been there before, but the property is full of history. Here are a few I liked . . .

Congratulations Mike & McKinsey! I can’t wait to document the celebration of your wedding day! Check back tomorrow when I’ll announce the winner of the Valentine’s contest!!!
I had the privilege of photographing Daley at her grandparents’ farm on Saturday. She and Jim are getting married in September in Hawaii, and she wanted to have some bridal portraits done prior to their big day! It was hot and humid, but we managed to get some great shots. I’m not done editing, but these are a few early favorites.

Check out the lighting on this one . . . sweet!!!

And because I love a good detail . . .

Thanks, Daley, for trusting me . . . even when it meant going out in the field amongst the cow patties
. I told you it would be worth it!
